Designer

Cori graduated from Detroit's College for Creative Studies (CCS) with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Graphic Design, after spending most of her college career on the Dean's List. She was first exposed to wayfinding during a field trip to a big-city design firm. "I thought, ‘Wait a minute; this isn't print design!"

Intrigued, Cori returned to CCS intent on learning more about environmental graphics. With little relevant coursework available, she began integrating wayfinding into her studies on her own, joining the Society for Environmental Graphic Design and finding ways to work wayfinding solutions into design assignments. She graduated with a determination to pursue a career in environmental graphic design, and moved north to join Corbin Design in 2008 after stints in graphic design and marketing at downstate firms.

When the workday is done, you might find Cori in a variety of outdoor settings. From mountain biking and dirt biking to snowboarding and skating, she makes the most of living in northern Michigan.
