Project Manager
Maureen joined Corbin in the fall of 2007, bringing with her an infectious
smile and an eye for detail. She's already bringing those qualities
to bear on projects for Corbin clients including Scripps Health in
California, Mission Health in North Carolina and the University of
Virginia Cancer Center.
A lifelong Michigan resident, Maureen first experienced the Traverse
City area during summer vacations on nearby Torch Lake. While she came "kicking
and screaming" as a teenager reluctant to leave her friends downstate,
the vacations led her to her future husband Jay, whose family had a
cottage across the lake.
Maureen graduated from Michigan State University with a
degree in engineering arts, and she put the degree to use as a CAD
tool designer at General Motors' Flint operations. She and Jay
moved their growing family to Traverse City several years later. Since
then, Maureen has worked as a veterinary assistant, run her own stained
glass business and taught introductory and intermediate extended education
classes in stained glass at Northwestern Michigan College.
