Rebecca Dixon is a designer at Corbin Design who joined the team in February 2022 bringing more than eight years of prior wayfinding experience. With a Master of Science of Design from Arizona State University, she completed her thesis working with the Carl T. Hayden VA Medical Center focusing on wayfinding throughout their healthcare facilities. A researcher by heart, this experience has honed Rebecca's diverse skills centralized around programming, planning, and design research methods that are applied to the user’s needs in not only public but private healthcare environments.
Originally from Wisconsin (aka the Land of Cheese), she lived in Arizona for over 20 years. After finishing school and gaining several years of wayfinding experience in the southwest, Rebecca returned to the Midwest to join the team at Corbin Design. While her experience spans printing, publishing, branding and graphic design, she finds the most joy in tackling the challenges of creating comprehensive wayfinding systems and has implemented them in a variety of different markets.
Outside of work, Rebecca enjoys discovering fun outdoor winter activities, mountain biking, climbing, hiking, and spending time with her family.
