In 2017 as part of University of Southern Indiana’s Master Plan study, Corbin Design visited the campus and provided a campus wayfinding analysis and initial design concepts. Then, in 2018 we kicked off the formal project to update the exterior campus wayfinding signs on their 1400-acre campus.
New signs feature the university logo on a brushed aluminum convex accent column, with message panels in the dark blue university color. Red accent stripes at the top of the message panel draw the eye and help the signs pop in the campus environment.
Pedestrian wayfinding signs and kiosks with campus maps were an important addition to the internal campus walkways. These signs were placed at important intersections and along well-traveled corridors to help orient students and visitors.
