NexusPark is a collaborative partnership between the Columbus Parks and Recreation Department, the City of Columbus, and Columbus Regional Health. Formerly known as Fair Oaks Mall, this space has been transformed from a traditional shopping center into a vibrant community hub featuring sports, recreation, retail, healthcare, and wellness facilities. During the extensive renovations, Corbin Design was engaged to create a cohesive wayfinding system, seamlessly integrating exterior and interior signage for this multi-use facility.
The redesigned interior is divided into three distinct geographical zones, each color-coded to represent one of the NexusPark partners. Drawing inspiration from NexusPark’s branding, the signage design balances modern aesthetics with functionality, ensuring clear visibility, readability, and consistency. To enhance visitor navigation, the five exterior entrances are prominently numbered, serving as key reference points. Inside, color-coded signage aligned with each Partner’s zone helps visitors easily identify and navigate to their destinations.
